Greetings From Lancaster
Good afternoon from Lancaster, PA. Today the Shorewomen field hockey team take on Franklin & Marshall. The Diplomats have won the last four, yet Washington College leads the all-time series, 8-6. The last Washington College was in 2002 by a 1-0 margin. Last season in Chestertown, F&M scored a 2-0 victory. That victory capped a run of seven straight Shorewomen wins over the Diplomats.

2-1 Washington 16:50 2nd
Subs coming on for both teams ... Shoremen have scored on both of their shots on goal; their other shots have gone wide.
Game time!
Starting line-ups are being announced as we are just minutes from kick-off. The weather couldn't be better ... mostly sunny and around 80 degrees.
This One's Personal
Greetings from Goucher College, land of the Gophers. Goucher happens to be my alma mater and it's always interesting to come back and see which old faces are still around.
Today's men's soccer game is an interesting match-up as the Shoremen's staunch defense will go up against Goucher's potent offense. Washington will also be trying to avenge a 2-1 loss to the Gophers last year.
More to come near game time.

Washington/Wesley Field Hockey
Live under the scorer's tent in Dover ... we are 10 minutes from game time. Heavy rain shower moved through earlier. We are dry right now, but we'll see for how long.
Delmarva Bragging Rights
While Washington College has a storied rivalry with fellow Eastern Shore of Maryland school Salisbury University, another school on the Delmarva, Wesley College, is Washington's closest rival, at least in terms of geography. Less than 35 miles of back roads separates Washington College from Wesley's campus in Dover, DE.
