The Shorewomen closed to nine points with a 12-0 run ... a Braxton put-back with four seconds left gave the Diplomats a 30-19 lead at the break.

F&M used a 19-1 run to build a 28-7 lead, but the Shorewomen have scored 10 in a row to get within 11. Turner has scored the last eight points for Washington.

Gettysburg won 88-51 this afternoon at Bream Gym.

Gettysburg 50-29, 16:44 2nd

After trailing 46-17 at intermission, the Shoremen netted 12 of the first 16 points in the second half to cut the deficit to 50-29. Todd Green just converted a three-point play.

Gettysburg prevails 70-57 this afternoon. Courtney Fields had 16 points, 10 steals and eight rebounds to lead the Bullets. Allie Dreschler had 18 points to lead all scorers. For Washington College, Brianne Slizofski had 14 points and eight rebounds for the Shorewomen. WC's quest to win back to back games against Gettysburg for the first time has been denied.
