Coveney struck out Croft swinging to start the ninth. Bobby Coleman grounds out 6-3 for out number two. John Zimmerman singles up the middle to keep the inning alive. Wenrich singles through the left side to put runners on first and second. Reitz was caught looking on a 1-2 pitch to end the game.

WC has now won six straight vs. the Green Terror.
