Shoremen Sprint Past Hood

Phew. A fast-paced second half followed by some technical issues while I was working on some post-game stuff.

The Shoremen came alive in the second half tonight, rallying past Hood, 90-81, at the Pride of Maryland Tournament. Kyle Stem (29 points) and Jonathan Webb (27 points) get the headlines - and rightfully so - but I can't say enough about the game Scott Polyniak had tonight - nine points and six rebounds, both career highs, two key steals, and the game-tying lay-up.

Washington rolls onto tomorrow's semifinals at 6:00 at Villa Julie against either Villa Julie or Hood.
