Designated hitter Kirk Hines delivered a two-run single past the diving shortstop through the left side to plate Greg Perret and Jim Gibbons. After a Hines stolen base, Huba singled to get Hines to third. A pitching change for Swarthmore, Dylan Smith now in the game for the Garnet.
