WC/MU Women's Soccer

Here's a little background on tonight's Washington/Marymount women's soccer game before I hit the road later on.

The Shorewomen and Saints should have each other well-scouted, since Marymount was in Chestertown for the season-opening Washington College Kick-Off Classic. Marymount played to a 2-2 tie against Notre Dame (MD) and fell to Wesley, 3-0, in the tournament, while Washington tied with Wesley at 0-0 and beat Notre Dame in overtime, 3-2.

Marymount leads the all-time series between the two teams, 2-1-1, but the two teams haven't met since September 5th, 2001, when they played to a 1-1 tie.
