1000 Wins

Congratulations to the men's basketball team on winning game 1,000 this evening against Keystone College. The Shoremen used a 18-2 run to rally from a 44-36 deficit. The 18-2 run was highlighted on a three-pointer by Matt Hamm with 59 seconds to go. Joey Breslin posted a double-double with 14 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks. All three led WC in the game.

The men's basketball program began play in the 1912-13 season and has five 20 or more win seasons, including a perfect 20-0 in 1924-25. The 1989-90 squad holds the record for victories in a season with 25.
