Oar You Ready for Some Rowing?

The Washington College rowing teams are in full practice mode as their first spring regatta is slated for April 1st - the annual Caspersen Cup between Washington, Johns Hopkins, and St. John's (MD). Men's co-captains Andrew Bright(left) and Tom Murray and women's captains Katie Cooper and Katherine Wilson will lead their teams into the spring season.

Here are some highlights of the spring rowing schedule:

4/15 v. Tufts, Wesleyan & Bates (in Boston) - Washington takes its top men's and women's rowers to Boston to take on some of the top competition in New England.

4/22 Mother and Son Regatta - Washington hosts its annual spring home regatta, featuring Washington (son) and Mary Washington (mother).

5/13-14 ECAC National Invitational Championships - Washington normally qualifies several boats for this regatta, one of the highest-profile regattas of the season.
